1. Turn on Apple Intelligence
Begin by ensuring your Mac is updated to macOS Sequoia:
- Go to Settings > General > About > macOS to confirm you're using macOS Sequoia.
- Once confirmed, open System Settings and navigate to Siri.
- Switch on Apple Intelligence.
With this setup, you’re ready to leverage Apple’s intelligent features on your Mac.
2. Install and Configure Raycast as Your Default Search
Download Raycast from its official website and replace Spotlight search with Raycast:
- Disable Spotlight's keyboard shortcut (⌘ Command + Space) by navigating to System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Spotlight and unchecking Show Spotlight Search.
- Open Raycast and go to its settings by pressing ⌘ Command + Comma or by clicking on the Raycast icon in the bottom bar.
- Update Raycast’s hotkey to ⌘ Command + Space to replace Spotlight.
3. Install the Apple Intelligence Raycast Extension
Now, integrate Apple Intelligence with Raycast:
- Open Raycast, navigate to Extensions, and search for “Apple Intelligence.”
- Use ⌘ Command + N or click on + icon and select install from store
- Search for Apple intelligence and install it
After setup, simply open Raycast with ⌘ Command + Space, type “Apple Intelligence,” and access intelligent features effortlessly.
That’s it! With Apple Intelligence now set up via Raycast, enjoy a more seamless, intuitive experience on your Mac.
